Euan Myles, the talented photographer behind the award winning Scotch Beef Campaign, asked Chris to recreate scenes from the critically acclaimed “The Thirty-Nine Steps” written by Scottish author John Buchan.
The book was the first of five novels featuring Richard Hannay, the all-action hero with a stiff upper lip and a miraculous knack for getting himself out of sticky situations. The novel formed the basis for a number of film adaptations, most notably: Alfred Hitchcock’s 1935 version of the melodrama.
The espionage trail took Chris onto the hills and moors of Southern Scotland to pay homage to the author.
